wrapping paper - these a couple of the gift wraps the kids did with a potato and leftover paint. Tilly made a card to match for her friends party on Sunday - she has definately inherited the crafty gene.

36 hours

without a cough!! Our little guy is much happier (he's not the only one!). We are well and truly on the mend... a great relief. We have had a quiet weekend at home - did some great craft with the kids to make gift wrapping paper with a potato stamp - worked out brilliantly looked very "designer chic!"
I'm having a think about entering the Masters again this year - the challenges are really good this year - and having a size restriction is a great idea... it's just finding the time. I was thrilled to get 2 honorary mentions last year... I will just have to burn the midnight oil..

slowly..

slowly we are fighting this horrible virus..I have stayed indoors most of the week - getting a little cabin fever, but necessary to keep Clancy out of the cold and wind....I got a few smiles today, so hopefully that means he is feeling a bit better- The rocking chair is certainly getting a workout.

poor little man.

my little boy has been ill. A horrible case of bronchiolitis. At six weeks old he is just far to little to be this sick. He was admitted on Sunday to hospital for oxygen - there is nothing else they can do as it is a virus...he has the most horrible cough - sounds like he has been smoking for 20 years... I can't imagine what it must be like for a parent with a chronically ill child -it's just heartbreaking every time he struggles for breath...
he has been sick for about a week, apparently we have another 2 weeks before this passes...so no scrapping or blogging happening here.. just lots of cuddles..

Baby Clancy is settling in beautifully, just sleeping and eating..no crying!!! Seems like he has always been here....

it's been a while..

since my last blog session... I have a good excuse though...gone from this

Baby Clancy James was born on 23rd April at 3.58pm.... 8lbs exactly...

So we have been settling in at home this last week, Clancy is wonderful, just sleeping and feeding..and sleeping... the other two have had their moments, which is to be expected as we settle into a new stage of our lives as a family of 5!!

37 weeks

and still waiting...
anyway gives me time to scrap!! Here is Tilly with her new glasses..andd this layout is for a challenge at the Cac- that's twice I have used purple now!!

for kids crafts.. this is a little handbag my daughter made yesterday - with 2 little matching butterfly brooches- how funky!!!

DS as born at this stage - but this one is still quite high - so could be a few more weeks yet..

I'm trying to enjoy the quiet time at home...just not used to not having a million things to do...

DD has been diagnosed long sighted and her first pair of glasses arrived on Friday. $200!! I wonder how long they will last.. She is very proud of them thank goodness - I thought it would be a challenge to get her to wear them.

how I got my groove back -- a bit of scrap therapy -
the builders ARE FINISHED!! So all we have to do is paint....ok, easy, except I am on bed rest and Jeff did his back last Wednesday and can still hardly move. Looks like once again our home wil be chaos for the arrival of a new baby..

Anyway - got some LOs done.

another month!!!

has gone by -- we are STILL renovating...my builder broke his nose this morning, but he is STILL working..what a trooper!!
but, there is light at the end of the tunnel - another week (or so) and we will be finished. We have mopped up after the whole downstairs was flooded in monsoonal rains - so the whole house is is a disaster zone. I have been in my happy place for a few weeks now.......

I am now officially finished work - it's very strange to not have to rush out the door in the morning - I have fought my way back into my scrapbooking room - and actually scrapped!!! YAY
I can just feel my sanity returning.

Baby is growing well - again on 95th percentile for size, just like the last one - so projected to 11 lbs......hmmmn... I have an appointment in a few weeks to discuss my "options". I wonder if getting somebody else to do it is one of my "options"????
So I am going to take advantage of these few weeks at home and scrap up a storm!!

renos....dust...dirt..and STUFF EVERYWHERE!!

well I haven't blogged because I haven't been able to get to my computer - yes, we are doing the dreaded reno.....

everything from the front half of the house is all piled into my scrapbooking room...so NO scrapping for me for at least another few weeks.......

well I'm sure it will all be worth it to have a lovely new bathroom, and entry and I guess the new baby WILL need somewhere to live.

and.....I have a front door - now that may not seem very exciting to most people, but we have only had a dodgy screen door that was about 5 ft 4 high since we bought the house - and that had a wonky cat flap that anyone could crawl through ... So now I have a PROPER KEY AND EVERYTHING!!

So it's Australia Day - and we have a great Aussie day planned - absolutely nothing - mowing the lawn, swim in the backyard pool -hanging out under the mango tree yep - it's great to be Australian!

rain, rain go away..

okay so i know it's a drought and people all over have water restrictions - but we don't and ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!! It has been raining non stop in Bundy (beautiful one day - wet wet wet the next and the next) since the start of my 2 week holiday. I had big plans to take the kids to the beach every day. nope. haven't been once - the risk of being swept away kind of takes the fun out of it....
so.... 2 bored kids, inside for 10 days + 1 new puppy = messy house from hell..
so I spent a whole day cleaning out my scrap space - man I was RUTHLESS!! So I will (try to) do what all good scrappers everywhere do on a rainy day - scrap all day ignoring all offsprings' needs for sustenance, hydration and entertainment...

on another note..
WOW - Maxine Hazebroek's entries for Masters are absolutely amazing. Congratulations Maxine - and to think that she nearly stopped scrapping because of some petty jealousies on a scrapsmack site - Well done Max- FAB< FAB FAB!!!!!!!

What a thrill - I really didn't think I would have a chance. I haven't seen the mag yet (things are a bit slow to get to Bundy!) But I am stoked!!!

um...guess that's the festive bit over..

okay - yes I am slack Miss Cass - I am feeling MUCH better now - all the horrible pregnancy sickness has gone - So I WILL BLOG!! (oh yes will!) I have 2 weeks off - planning big spring - (well only slightly late!!) clean.. and I guess I had better find somewhere to put this new baby as I won't have any more time off now before he (yep he!!) comes.

haven't thrown up for 5 WHOLE DAYS!!! I actually feel like scrapping again.. thank god - I was getting a bit depressed there for a while...

there is a light....

at the end of the morning sickness tunnel - I have not blogged for a month - barely getting through my workday - dinner bath. bed for the kids and collapsing into bed at 7,30... so what's with this whole BLOOMING thing??? Seems I kinda bypass that.. But it has eased - I now have traditional "morning" sickness.. only vomiting first thing - which is a HUGE improvement from the last 10 weeks - 16 weeks preggas now - so one would hope that it will end soon...

hmmm - STILL WAITING to hear from Scrapbooking Memories Masters - lucky really I have been so crook, or I would have been obsessing about it!!!

starting to feel a bit better. Today is the first day in 9 weeks that I haven't thrown up - and that is while ON maxalon. So I am hoping that it is the beginning of the end - THANK GOD!!!

I actually did a LO today - my first in 8 weeks - I can feel my mojo coming back! I think these 2 weeks holiday were just what I needed..
off to get some batteries for my camera..
